WELCOME!

The Black Forest (Schwarzwald) is one of the most popular holiday regions in Germany. A year round destination, there is plenty to see and do, both in summer and winter.

Located in the southern state of Baden-Wuerttemberg, it is a hilly region filled with picture-postcard villages and valleys. The main charm of the area is, in fact, the outstanding beauty of the landscape. It almost goes without saying that the Black Forest is an ideal place for hiking tours, mountain biking or cross-country skiing. The added attractions of hot springs, fascinating local traditions, great food (Black Forest cake) and, of course, cuckoo clocks makes the Black Forest a perfect destination for any visitor to Germany.
